Puddy just recently did a rebuild...he might be able to post up a how-to.

The fronts are pretty easy...the rears may be more complex due to the way the hand brake works.

thanks i'll send him a pm, I just feel that if I could fix my problem for $50 or so that'll be much better than paying for a new caliper.

I was going to do the rebuild as well, but I think I will just pick up the caliper from Jeff(hardtopguy) and send my old one back as core.

Comes out to like 60-65 bucks for the caliper!

I just rebuilt mine a couple of days ago after the piston seized... the hardest part was getting the dust boot to seat into the caliper body, but this was most likely due to all of the rust mine had accumulated from years on salty winter roads. Once I spent an hour or so scraping the rust down, it (mostly) slid right in. In my case, it was easier (laugh) to put the dust boot on the caliper first, then have someone use medical clamps to widen the opening of the boot so I could slide the piston in. YMMV...
