I agree. If the car is going to sit for a long time I will usually lock it and then hit the "up" switch for another 1 second and it takes some tension out.

FWIW... I've found this charger to be reliable in trickle mode (0.8 amps). Float-mode seems dependable. Weather-resistant. Easy to read-&-use.

From another site. Ever heard of this?

Scatter \"Bounce\" brand dryer sheets inside the vehicle.
They smell better than mothballs and are as effective if not more, at keeping rodents from finding a new home in your car.

The same dryer sheet nonsense is on some of the camper forums as well. Finding mouse droppings on them and beds made from them kinda kills the myth. Mice can't get their bottoms up on top of moth balls so just poop next to them.

Mice are looking mainly for food. Maybe those McDonalds fries under the seats? There's better shelter than your car unless it's parked in the middle of an open field.
