2003? Your fine, you should get the emanage ultimate if you're getting Giles to tune

yeah, i know he's quite the expert with GEMU - the VAFC fit my current budget, though. Eventually I'll go Ultimate or AEM, but in the meantime I'll have to settle for the WOT VAFC tune.

500 used for a ECU + harness is about the street price. For a couple hundred more, you get 3x that much in features that Giles knows what to do with.

Regardless... 2003 run rich so it's not as dangerous as a late model AP2 per say to run those mods.

believe me, i realize ultimate is a superior EMS, and I'm aware of the Apexi's limitations. The price was right ($200 with boomslang harness), so I scooped it up. Eventually I'll sell it and move up to the Greddy unit, but for now it will do.

I was under the impression that 02-03 AP1s didn't run quite as super-rich as the earlier 00-01 models did, which is what kinda raised a red flag for me.

YOU"RE GONNA BLOW UP!!!

You'll be fine, man. Yours runs a little leaner from the factory than mine, but I'm still in the low-12s @ WOT on the factory settings. Just don't go WOT up and down Barrett this week.

lol... i'll just lower VTEC to 3,000 RPM and try and stay between 8-9k on barrett all day every day. everything should be dandy, right?

haha, sounds like the general consensus says its time to throw all these goodies on... yippee
