Retap the hole. don't screw it up or you will need a new block.

the thread of the bolt i s not F_ck up, is the theart on the block that is f_ck up... a machine shop would be able to fix this.

the hole cannot be retap, because the oil pick up thins, is on the way

Remove oil pump, then tap the hole.

that requires taking the time chain off right?

i just called a performance shop i town, they said it can be fix, i just need and bigger oil jet bolt, ( bigger than 8mm which is the stock one), the guy told me that bmw m5, m3 use the same oil jet bolt but bigger, and of course different thread.

what you guys think?

I think Slow is right...your best solution at this point is to retap it. The "performance shop" is going to have to retap to fit a bolt with different threads anyway. And who knows what other problems might be caused using a non-oem size bolt.

DO NOT retap the block with larger threads for a different bolt. Remove the oil pump, and use the correct size tap for the stock oil jet bolts.

The "performance" shop is definately somewhere that I would NOT call for advise nor leave my car at. They are obviously retarded. Yeah, a BMW does also have an oil squirter, but .... WTF they are so stupid. I guess when you break some valves, you can just swap them out for some off of an Audi since they have them aswell.

Yes you have to take off the timing chain to take off the oil pan, but at least that way you have a chance of not having to take out the engine and put a new one in. Make sure you do it right, and no matter what the "performance" shop says, its not ok to drive the car on 3 oil squirters to get it down to them.

Slows2k: so at this point, i still can fix the issue?

when you said retap , that mean rethread the hole with the rigth threat again? would that make the hole bigger?

aero3685: the bmw bolt was in case the oem bolt cannot be used anymore, because if they have to rethread the hole, they need to dirll the existing hole which is going to make it bigger, and bigger bolt would need to be use.

but that does not sound right to me either =/

quick question, what they use to rethread a hole is like a drill bit with the threats right? how the heck i going to get that bit up there?
