sorry to resurrect an old thread, but in the interest of closure, i believe it necessary.

The throttle body cleaning did the trick for me. I have no idea why this is not a part of regular service at the dealer. I even asked them why it wasn't and they just shrugged.

Slightly lumpy idle, clean throttle body as first fix try. peace.
What did you use to clean it? Carb cleaner spray or just a lot of wiping? Mine is probably dirty also. I have slight RPM fluctuations also, I'll have to look into cleaning the TB soon and if it doesn't help, look into the MAP.

just to add.
Was looking on a tread like this and what i expirience is.
my car without Headlights works 700-800rpms at idle and when i turn the headlights on it runs 80% of the time on 1000rpm and than at 900 and never drops to 700 or 800.And with the AC on and without the Lights the car works like 7-800 and maybe 900 sometime but not 1000.
Whats the deal with this?As far as the manual says its should be 800 +- 50rpm with headlights and the cooling fan on.So something wrong here.?
I will put the Hondata gasket soon and clean and polish the Intake Manifold and TB so i will see what hapends.
But idle is good with the Huge stereo on and everything else but Bad on Just headlights.Even Stereo off and Ventilation. 1000rpms.
Thanks for any sugestions.
