Hello, i searched the forums for this issue and cannot find anything.

My 2006 ap2 (Drive By Wire) is having a weird idle problem.

Whenever COASTING (Moving, but not in gear) the RPMs are at 1300-1500. The moment I stop they drop back down to normal idle (1k). Why does it do this, why is the engine receiving fuel when it's in neutral.

Does anyone have any idea whats causing this? Started happening after I cleaned the TB, I did put a new gasket as well, torqued to spec, but ended up re-tightening and stripping a bolt(but thats unrelated)

maybe try an ECU reset (search the forum for DIY). same thing happened on my golf when I cleaned the TB, the car just has to learn new values. might just take a few runs for it to settle down
