Default Dipping Idle

When the car is warm, the idle tends to dip to about 3 / 400 rpm momentarily after blipping the throttle or dipping the clutch when braking. It hasn't stalled yet, but it feels like it's going to.

Any suggestions? ECU reset maybe?

Search for IACV and think that will solve that

Thought it was a common problem. Mine hasn't stalled either, always recovers.

I think ambient temperature has an effect on it too.

by jove, I think that's done it

I couldn't get the rubber pipes off, stuck fast they were, so I loosened the throttle cable and managed to swivel it around and give it a good clean. There is a very small valve in the which you can twist around, it was covered in soot so with cotton buds in hand and a can of WD, it's now sparkling and seems to have done the trick.

Thanks to all.
