Default Idle Still Stumbles

Hey Guys,

I wanted to get your opinion on what my next plan of action is. My idle is still stumbling a bit when I am revving the car and letting it go back to idle. I've already done the following:

1) Clean out the IAC valve
2) MAP wack
3) Valve adjustment

After the valve adjustment this weekend I feel that it is a bit better. It doesn't stumble as often nor does it seem to stumble to almost stalling out. Should I just replace the MAP sensor at this point?

When I had this problem it was an aftermarket TPS causing it. I just replaced my throttle body with one that had an OEM TPS and it idles perfect with no vibrations/shivers now.

just addressed one of these problems on a friends 05. we cleaned the IAC, MAP and air filter. check your spark plugs. i had to change his spark plug seals since they were severly worn out and disfigured and oil was getting through.

Haven't heard of the TPS being jacked.

I recently changed my plugs.

So now it's a toss up between the TPS and the MAP...

Is your TPS pointed towards the floor or upwards?

Zip tie the MAP to make sure the connection is good, than do a ECU reset, and check back. I had stalling/bad idle issue and I did this and no more.

I did this already, sadly it didn't do very much.

check your throttle cable adjustment. if there is more than 1/4 on an inch deflection try adjusting it. There is also an adjustment screw for the TPS. take off your intake clean the TB.

adjust your cables!

I have trouble believing it would be slack in the pedal.
