Default Ignition System

1. Is anybody using Pulstar plugs?

2. If so what do you like or dislike about them?

3. What is the general consensus of the pulsing concept vs. the standard spark plug?

Why mess with a factory NGK plug that is good for 90k miles and has a 100% track record for reliability?

I think you taking a big risk. I have seem other brands of plugs fall apart in this engine and destroy the cylinder walls.

I just read about them. It seems like a crock to me and I would never trust them in this type of engine.

One more thumbs down on Pulstar here. There are very few changes you can make outside of OEM and get a positive result with this car. It really is well engineered for it's purpose. The bigger the gimmick, the less I think of the product.

Actually I don't have the charts but they did in fact make power at a local shop unfortunately they tend to send out failures that cause problems and after a while the gap alters it self and you have to re gap them

If the ignition needed more energy, honda would have spun more turns into the secondary of each cop. Adding an additional coil downstream of an ignition coil is just idiotic from an electronics standpoint. The only thing it will do is make the spark timing off slightly,

Stick with NGK.

Just search here on the forums.
There are blown engines because of other plugs breaking and scratching the sidewalls

I did some research on them a few years ago. From what I read, there were more people who had negative things to say then good. I'd stick to NGKs
