Default Nology hotwires and Okada coils

i ordered both the wires and the coils...i am a little unsure of what may result. anyone have any facts, or input? the Nology builds up the spark according to research before releasing the energy to the coil. the Okada coil is supposed to increase spark. and be more accurate to timing. any help would be nice before i put these on my baby. also has any one compared the nology silver non-capacitor type spark plug vs the ngk ix extreme???

thanx a million

I got bad news for you champ......our cars don't have spark plug wires. We have a coil on plug system.

Edit: I looked around and found the Nology product. It looks like a terrible idea..... taking the coils off of the plugs just so you can run a wire between the coil and the plug..... . The Okadas alone will give you some SMALL gains, but I wouldn't do the Nology. Actually, if it were me, I would spend the $700 on something that will get you more than 3 horsepower.

you must not have understood me clearly. i dont want to remove the coil from my system. i am talking about replacing the wire that goes to the coil pack itself. im not at home so i cant really look at the set up. unfortunately im stuck here in afghanistan. i am looking to improve the ignition. thanx for the input.

The ignition does not need improving in our cars. It's as simple as that. Spend your money on something useful.

you must not have understood what the Nology wires do then. They won't work with the Okada coils I'm pretty sure. The Nology wires are for removing the Coil on Plug setup and converting to a more traditional old school ignition system. You would be stepping backwards as far as ignition system technologies go.

Also, Nology wires are a gimmick, I wouldn't run them on any vehicle regardless of ignition type. You don't really want a capacitor in line between the coil and the plug.

A little googling goes a long way: http://rxreviews.wordpress.com/2007/04/02/...wires-on-the-8/

I hope you can cancel that order.
