Yet another reason why the 00-01 plastic rear windows rule over gl-ASS.

j/k

I like Dan's idea. Save yourself 60+ lbs and run w/out the soft-top...

What broke the glass? Was there something under it?

Heres my $.02

If this were to happen to me i'd see if i couldn't get the insurance to foot the bill on a hard top then ripout the soft top and rock it hard top style...

Since you already have the hard top scrap the rags and save some lbs... only take the top completely off when you know your gonna be topless and feel secure, not like the rag top would really prevent someone from getting in if they wanted anyhow...

If you have full insurance, including FULL GLASS, you dont have to worry because the insurance will replace it under that section of your policy. Now if your deductible is high, say $500 to $1000 then you might be out of luck because your going to have to dish out that amount before they take over on payment. All in all its truely not that bad, my friend had his top cut and the insurance covered the amount under his vandalism policy. His deductible is great, he payed $200 and they foot the rest! It pays to have a low deductible sometimes.

Not necessarily, only if he has a lot of claims.
