Default im losing a lot of hp!

i got my car dynoed this satruday and my peak horsepower was only 178.04 with max torque at 123.54. im going to get a diagnostic when i can. i hope it's not a major problem. i was wondering if anyone has had this problem too and if so what do you think i need to do?

btw, i have a arc intake box w/chamber and exhaust.

heres the dyno results....

is the dyno configured right?
I had the same problem before, then I did a leak down test and found out one of my cylinder is behaving funny, the needle doesnt' jump bust slowly goes up do the valve. I then opened up my head discovering that one of the valve spring retainer is about to break.
changed all the retainers when I swapped my cams, everything is fine now.
do a compression and leak down test, people may tell you it's the ARC, trust me it's not. I still have the ARC setup on my car, it dynoed 2 hp higher than stock airbox, and the torqur curve is higher and flatter
good luck and Keep ups updated on what you find

A local guy in my area had a low dyno and had almost identical numbers , needless to say he no longer has his ARC intake. Draw your own conclusions.

it's not clear.. you got 20hp less on the same dyno/same day as other S2000's?

just wondering as I have seen plenty of charts posted with 170's/180's at the wheels...

anyway.. car looks great..
