Default Immobilizer question

Ok so I've been having troubles getting my car to start today and it may have something to do with the immobilizer...How do i know if the immobilizer is being engaged? is there a light sequence i should know about?

If the green key light is still flashing while you are trying to start the car there is an issue with the immobilizer. Usually an un-programmed key.

More likely would be the transceiver. The chip in the key is almost inert.

Sounds like that's not the problem. I'm assuming your compression test came out ok? If your compression test came out ok, then check spark again. You said you have spark but it wasn't very powerful? It needs to be strong and blueish. Sounds like your getting fuel as well. If all of that checks out, try swapping your ecu out with a friends. Also maybe you have a corroded ground somewhere. Good luck.

you cant simply swap the ECU... the Immobilzer code is in the ECU... and your ignition wont work with their key...
