Immobilizer question

well before i do the compression test - it might be smart to plug my code reader and see if i get any codes... then if all is well i will do the compression test.... tried starting it up this morning and it wouldnt start--just kept cranking

If the key light is not flashing while the starter is spinning the engine over you don't have a problem with the immobilizer.
