I'm glad that you found out it was the oil filter, nice and easy fix. It must have been a real relief. I hate it when you have an oil leak and can't find where it is coming from. That is what I have been going through for the past week. I found some oil under the car and the plastics underneath had oil on them on the passenger side, but I could not find where the oil was coming from. All of the ends of the oil lines are perfectly dry so I am pretty puzzled. Last night I cleaned all of the plastics with break cleaner and ran the car this morning, and I don't see any signs of an oil leak. I am praying that it was just oil from installing everything, but time will tell.

When in doubt build yourself a anti-spin off mod. I'm sure you can find the thread somewhere. Good to see you caught it before it was too late!

Phil, get a K&N filter and safety wire it on.
You are so lucky it didn't come off.
