Well this pos really needs a re-tune but until then I want to just initialize it but im not sure if doing that will completely make the car run even worse or just take the car back to the way it would be as if the VAFC wasnt even there. Id love to just unhook it and take it out but its wired into the VAFC and i really dont feel like doing it. So basically my question is by initializing the vafc will it pretty much be doing nothing or will it initialize back to its factory settings which will make the car run bad??

 

It depends. If you have the primary o2 sensor still in place, then it will act stock as if the vafc is not even there. If you dont have the primary o2 sensor, then the car will run in open loop mode, and it may run a little funny.
