Default vafc question

i recently had my vafc installed (not tuned) via a wiring harness. but when i hit wot, the car seems to hesitate at times almost like it's hitting the rev limiter or something for a second and then goes back to normal. is this normal until i get it tuned? and when i get it tuned will this go away?

thanx,
chris

the wiring should be fine. everything's connected through a wiring harness.

And your sure that there are no settings on the vafc right?
Then I would discinnect the vafc and see if it still runs like that, if it does then it might be your map sensor. if it doesn't then recheck the vafc again.......

yup. what should be the basic settings if any while it's untuned?

There have been reported defective wiring harnesses
so basically if i disconnect it, and it doesn't hesitate, i may have a defective wiring harness

thanx fellas,
chris
