Default Injector installation

I have purchased RC550's from another user on this board. Today, we tried to install the injectors but they did not fit. We tried putting the rubber rings on the tips so that they are tight in there but they became loose. We tried putting the rubber ring that was on the stock injectors (which is thicker) and this time the injectors won't even do inside because you have to expand the stock rubber band to fit on the RC injectors.

BTW, after the injectors did not fit, I checked the part number and I found out that the S2000 injectors are SL9-550 but the one that I have is SL4-550. So does this mean I have totally wrong injectors? because the seller told me that these are for S2000.

I don't know what to do, somebody please give me some info...

They should look like this RC and stock. The stock comes with a one piece o-ring (not shown) and the RCs use 2 smaller o-rings.

thanks for the quick reply...

the thing is that when I put the 2 rings on the RC and put them on the car. They are nor tight like the stock one. They are loose. That's why I am concerned because I am afraid that it will leak.

Also do you know the difference between the SL4-550 and SL5-550??

just took a picture of mine to compare and it looks like mine is different. the red part that I have circled in is longer than the one that you have on the picture which is the part that does not fit when I put the 2 rubber rings on...

You need spacers for these injectors.
Are you using some?
Maybe this might help?
