Injen Filter Cleaning Question

Is there a way to clean it without that special cleaning kit they sell?

Just get the kit from Pep boys. You need the oil it comes with for the filter after you clean it. Otherwise, I would think any all purpose cleaner will get the grime off.

doh, I was just there yesterday. if you think of the actual name of the oil, let me know. I've got to put the car back together tomorrow night.

Get the K&N cleaning kit. That is what is designed to do the job. It works great.
