i took of the litle airduct from the airbox (leftside under)

but when i put in the spoon snorkel it's not a tight fit... the snorkel can still move....

the original airduct was mounted with two rivets (screw things) but in the spoon snorkel there are no holes, and i don't want to drill holes in the kevlar from my original spoon snorkel...

how should i mount it?

thanks.
greetings Tim

i think you have the one for use with the spoon bumper

either way take your bumper and radiator shroud off and fit it. you might have to trip the hood to get it to close

install is as follow.

1. remove air guide on the air box lid.
2. remove bumper, and remove the cooling radiator shroud*
**you can cut into it to fit the snorkel
3. put the front bumper back on.
4. install snorkel
5. make sure the snorkel is resting in the bottom half of the air box
6. put the airbox lid back on and attach firmly

tips: i added some electrical tape around the snorkel where it fits into the airbox square. this is gave a really tight fit.

you may also need to also adjust the hood latch as well as the rubber stops.

Do you need the front bumper to be removed in order to remove the cooling radiator shroud?

Yes. There are hidden bolts that sit behind the bumper and are impossible to get to without removing the bumper.

I took mine off without removing the bumper. I ruined a couple of the little fasteners, but it came off. I don't think you could reinstall it with the bumper on.
