Install TCT. Having issues with fitment.
I’m installing a tct that’s a 1/4 from snug. I kept turning the crank and it still won’t fit. Is it possible to over crank the car clockwise and ruin the car?
Also I can fill the cylinder inside the TCT so it’s adjusting in and out with every time I turn the crank.

be sure the TCT is square in the block and not askew- it shouldn't take mounds of force to install. If you need to force anything STOP, remove the TCT, and be sure the bore is clean. Put a little clean engine oil on the TCT seal just so it is easier to...er...ease into the block. It should seat without needing to torque it down first.
DO NOT remove the pin from the TCT until it is properly torqued down against the block- it doesn't take much torque either- as in like 8.7 lbft. The pin is removed thru the access port at the front of the block. IIRC, you CAN NOT install the TCT with that pin removed. If you removed the pin already before installation- and without it being torqued down- you'll need to reset the TCT, reinstall the pin, and start over.
If in doubt about any of this, leave it to an experienced installer.
