Default installation on supercharger

Hey guys...I get many calls on the ease of installing a supercharger kit on S2000 at a technical level. Well, one of our customers took the time out and he provided us with some detail info on the ease of it. Hopefully this will be of use to you all.

Thanks for the info but this has already been posted. I installed this kit with 2 buddies and I can tell you from start to finish it will take over 20 hours to complete. We had all the tool and a shop to work in too. We were all working on different parts of the car at the same time as well. If you don't have help don't even think about doing this alone because it is a 2 man job.

I would say the hardest part would be mounting the SC and it's belts onto the engine bay was the most difficult and time consuming part. The only other part that gave us a problem was removing the crank pulley. For whatever reason mine was on there extra tight. I had to use a breaker bar with an extension of about 4 feet to get enough leverage to break it lose. Everything else is straight forward.

LOL...yea the crank pulley is a pain without air tools, I learned that the hard way too. It took me about 15 min to get that one little bolt off...once I invested in some air tools it took about 3 sec.

Thanks for your feed back...This info. will be very helpful for me.

You know whats funny, we had air tools. The shop had a impact gun and I let that work on the bolt for 5 mins straight. NOTHING

185ft/lbs of glue. The two hard parts are the crank pulley and the fuel pump. The fuel pump is simply tedious and time consuming, unless you are a contortionist. It could be a one man job, but its way too much of a hassle. It should take 8-12hrs for the inexperienced installer(s). Some guy in Cali with a full shop breezed through the install in 3hrs though.
