Installled my Mugen Exhaust today. Its great! Just a bit louder than stock(this is what I was looking for). It has a deep mellow tone which is noticeable primarily on low RPM ranges. Very nice tone of sound.

Now there are at least two cars in S. Florida with Mugen exhaust . The exhaust looks pretty much like stock from the rear, though the smaller cans are visible from low angles. Here's a photo of the stock vs. Mugen systems side-by-side on my lawn:

 

That's a great picture... Visually, those Honda silencers must be worth a few additional Cd points. They are out on the air stream.

 

Can you record an post that sound i would like to hear it before buy ?? I am looking for a nice sound like you describe but there is so much difference between each type of exhaust !! Thanks

 

I dont have a sound file but it sounds deep not high pitched.

Hope this helps: My friend came with me to put it on. When he rode with me to hear it he was surprised a Honda could sound like this. I told him it wasnt your ordinary Honda!

He said it sounded remarkably like his car, he has an 99' BMW M3 with exhaust.

Please dont set your judgement on what I or anyone says. Do the research and ask around to those that have the Mugen, maybe look for someone around your area and ride with him. Remember in the end its up to you.

 

I am in process to do that research...For an example i have found a place that you choose a car an you can hear the sound with their muffler ( borla.com )anyway i understand what you mean. Thanks
