First, I painted it with spray paint, then later, I had it sprayed and clear coated at a body shop.

My spray can job was better, and I'll be repainting it, or doing a different treatment soon.

One thing i noticed that helped heat soak a lot is the hood!!! If you think yours is loud, you should hear it with the vented hood...its just obscene!

I just took the horn off and hit it with some metal polish (Wenol) and a cotton rag.

2 hours later...Bling Bling!!!

Pete:

In my massive research to improve what I think is a bad stock air intake, I actually called PRM and talked to the designer of your unit. He told me that it actually makes no difference if you open up the "fake" air vent in the left bumper area or not, as enough air gets in to the cavity to feed the hole in the pax side of the eingine well anyway. He also said that the main advantage of your unit is he sound, and performance above VTEC.

As far as looks are concerned, I think the Prm is the best looking of the aftermarket intake systems. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks,
Richard:) :) :)

I beg to differ with him for several reasons. First, he designed this system for a Ford Probe and doesn't even own nor has tested the unit on an s2000, let alone one with the vent dreemeled out. Second, I dremmeled mine out, took a leaf blower and tested to see if air got up to vent, an it did.

GEEEEEZ......................sounds like you guys are more interested in what an intake sounds or looks like instead of any performance gains it might add..................I'll stick to my AEM CAI.............thanks
