xviper,

I finally have a pic. Check this out. Also, I did a test on my gauge with a compressor and it works. So I've concluded the following:

1. My SC is not working
2. Somewhere there is a leak
3. Wrong connection

Any thoughts anyone?

Those hose connections appear to be correct. I'm assuming that the "T" on the main line (closest to the manifold) takes the hose to the "add-on" fuel pressure regulator?
If you were to disconnect the white tube (to the boost gauge) at the "T", do you get vacuum at idle? Because if you do, you should be showing vacuum on the gauge. If not then the path between that fitting and the back of the gauge is somehow occluded, in which case, you'll need to look into the possibility that the ferrules are pinching off the tube. Also do another test by checking for vacuum in the tube at the gauge end with that fitting removed.

xviper, my gauge reads boost and no "VAC". Maybe that is why there has been a little confusion between the posts. Anyhow, I will get no reading on idle. I've v-tec a couple of times and no reading on "Boost". My question is how fast and what RPMs should I get a boost reading.

Thanks....

OK, this clears up a lot of things. A "boost" reading should occur anytime you have sufficient throttle plate opening AND rpm above about 5000. The amount of positive pressure in the intake manifold is dependent upon the amount of throttle you're giving. If you have WOT as you pass about 5000 rpm, you should be starting to register a couple lbs. of boost pressure. You will not see much more than about 7 lbs until you reach almost 9000 rpm with WOT.

I'm sorry about my ignorance of what an Apexi boost gauge looks like and what it reads. My Autometer gauge sits at "0" when the motor is off and it will go as low as -22 lbs vacuum during hard deceleration.
Don't know if you can see the gauge well, but ..........................

Problemed resolved. It was boosting alright. I had my cousin gun it for me to make sure I wasn't seeing things. He got it to boost around 7PSI. The gauge is kind of hard to read since it reads up to 30 with no VAC so the needle barely moves. I thought I was seeing things when driving on my own.

Should us Vortech SC S2Ks be boosting 8 max?

BTW: Since it has been verified my gauge is working, I'm running the nylon tube to the VAC line that is already in the car that wires to the Honda computer unit. It's much cleaner that way.

Thanks....

7 to 7.5 psi is normal for a Vortech.

I'm glad you've finally solved the mystery and there is nothing wrong with your connections. For a set-up that only needs a scale up to about 8psi, having a gauge that is scaled to 30 does make for a difficult and possibly innacurate read. You might consider one with a vacuum side and a smaller scale on the pressure side. This will add to your driving pleasure immensely. Maybe it's just me, but I love being able to see that gauge needle move around the way it does. It goes from about -22 psi to +7 psi.

Look at the red, yellow, red wires in the pic.

Where do I wire the bulb? Is it under the dash?
You wire the "bulb" to the TOP slot (where I've got the other red wire). This will then be controlled by your dash light switch. Ground the bulb (if there is a ground wire) to the same ground as for the gauge itself.
