Default Installing new roll hoop garnish...

Well, I separated my roll hoop covers earlier... And just found out that this is a big no-no. Trying to keep them together with black silicone, but it's not doing that good of a job.

Jumped on Majestic Honda's website, and saw that the whole assembly is pretty cheap, about $112. It looks like it comes with the metal roll bar already installed with the garnish, is this right? Also, for an 06 w/speakers, I'm wondering how that's all going to play out. Do they possibly come with them? Here's the link...

As for the basic trim and garnish, is this a pretty straight forward job? Does the rear tray HAVE to come out to get the old roll hoops out?

Thanks for any help guys!

Interesting. I guess I'll see how this silicone stuff holds up. I'm a nut when it comes to things being perfect, so I might just order the new garnish even if the sealant holds up.

I used 3M's molding adhesive, for plastic and rubber moldings. It's messy, but it does work, and looks ok when done.

if you get the whole garnish it doesn't look like the speakers and the speaker covers come with it.

Yeah, which should make it really interesting... Trying to swap the old speakers and covers to the new roll hoop. Hmmm...
