Default Intake Manifold removal DIY?

Has anyone done a DIY on the intake manifold removal/replacement? Yes I did a search and found nothing. I have to remove the intake manifold to get to the rear clamp on the upper radiator hose.

Definitely do not remove the intake just for that hose.

Once you get some things out of the way (iac valve, small other things) a cable operated clamp tool can take that spring clamp right off.

Taking the intake manifold off is a big job, and there are lots of hoses and wires that will likely get bunched in the wrong position upon installation, unless you are a veteran mechanic.

Thanks Billman but I tried that tool and still can't get the clamp off. It's been an enourmous pain. I started the manifold removal process but so far am only up the removal of the fuel rail and injectors.

As someone who has taken his IM off and reinstalled multiple times, upgraded to different IM, etc: If you cannot get to that clamp without taking the IM off you have no business taking the IM off..

Honda should be able to get to that clamp for you... although they'll complain about it.. just take it there.
