don't be a fool, lol, go with the AEM or Injen, best sound, best performance.

FWIW,
I have been told the MG racing sounds really nice-(suits the car). I have not heard it first hand to give my opinion. If I was in the market again, I would research in this direction.

Having driven Dave's Bruised Banana and actually hearing it while I'm in my car, it certainly makes me go (well, bananas)!

First off, you can feel the Injen CAI in the butt of your seat, which is what really matters, IMO. The sound is simply OMG GREAT!!! And I have had the esteem pleasure of hearing that CAI in all sorts of conditions and drives. under overpasses, GEEZ LOUISE!!! In a TUNNEL, MERCY ME!!!

I hope that sums it up for 'ya!

Same here... My first "mod" was poppin' the cover off my airbox. Really appreciated that sound. But the heatsoak in the summer was absolute murder with the cover off the airbox. So I went with the Injen CAI...and have never looked back. Nice *throaty* accelerations. Once you are "at speed" and just maintaining, its not a *riot of noise* like some straight exhaust pipes can be, etc. In fact, when set to cruise, its very mellow. But there is MUCH fun to be had putting the gas pedal to the floor now! The Injen (and likely other CAIs) is just sooo damned "In YoUr FaCe" when you throw hard through the gears...or just accelerate at any time, that it makes you smile.

I love it. Oh, and btw, that mentioning initially about "heatsoak" with the cover off of the OEM airbox?... When I installed the Injen CAI, that went away. I had this install done during last summer. First time I had the air conditioner on high -- well into 100 degrees outside that day as I remember -- and this CAI installed...and I was at the beginning of a stop light, and I pulled away like the A/C wasn't even turned on. It was pure pleasure knowing a lil' mod like that could make such a difference in performance. AND sound so good!

I've only heard the PRM and the AEM....the PRM (on my car) makes an absolutely wicked, mean sound...it's quiet as stock up to about 40% throttle position. Floor it and be prepared to turn heads on the street for a block.

BMW did something interesting on the Z4. They have a hose leading into the passenger compartment to bring intake roar into the interior. Easy to copy I suppose.

This S2000 intake sounds great - stock? (Video from a front bumper mounted camcorder recording an autocross..)

I have the K & N Aircharger. It sounds great plus I picked up 5.6 hp and almost 8 ft lbs of torque. This was documented with a before and after dyno run on the day of the CAI install. Good luck!
