Default Intermitant Starting Problem

Need to see if anybody else has run into this. My MY03 wouldn't start last night. Everything seemed to be running fine when I parked (on about a 15 degree incline) and left left the car for a hour and a half. When I came back and tried to start it the engine would turn over but appeared not to be getting any spark (just a guess). This went on for 15 minutes or so with numerous attempts and the same result. Finally I was about to call a tow truck and took one last try to fire it up. It started up and ran like there was never a problem. I've since started the car 5 or 6 times without any further problem. Anyone else every run into something like this? I'd like to know what to have the dealer check out/fix that might have caused this.

very weird,
Could be a spark or fuel problem. If it happens again, post here and let us know. I don't think the 15 degree incline has anything to do with it. How many miles on the car? What kind of mods if any do you have done?

No mods at all. I first thought that the incline might have something to do with it. Maybe the fuel pump was having a hard time fighting gravity. But I rolled the car back to a spot that was closer to level and it still was doing the same thing. That lead me to believe that it had to be some kind of ignition problem. But to have it just disappear the way it did doesn't make any sense.

The fuel pump finghting gravity is not a factor. I'm not sure exacty what you're trying to say there. Maybe if your fuel was very low and the incline caused the pump to become unsubmerged, but I doubt that. Just pay attention to all the conditions if it happens again.
