Default intro and help with my s2k ap1 =(

hilo, my name is vin and i just purchased an s2000 recently =) and i love the car!!

I ran into few problems after i bought the car home and a friend of mine referred me to this site and told me good things about you guys!

my problem with the car is that it is harder for me to take off on first gear without going pass 3k rpm and i need to ride on the clutch to get it moving ( it only does this once it reach normal temperature) If i just let go of the clutch and try gassing, the RPM would just drop under 1k and engine would hesitate. and the car would choke a little until i step on the clutch again..

when it is still cold. it dont seem to have this problem?

It seems to me that this car only likes HIGH rpm! I've tried launching the car in V-tec. the clutch do not slips and it does not hesitate to move at all..

Any Input would be greatly appreciated!

milage? year? maintenance history? DO NOT launch the car or you will blow the differential.

the clutch was replaced around 70-80k mileage( not sure if its aftermarket or oem). it does have a light weight flywheel tho!

yeah if i dont ride on the clutch and gas it. the rpm would just drop below 1k. and it idles at 1k rpm. and if i just let go of the clutch and try gasing. it would jerkkk..

do u guys think that bad master or slave clutch cylinder would do this? or just a air bubble?

any help would be great...

if i cant fix this ( i need a car to commute for work). i am considering the second option ( selling the car for a cheap price)

any input would be great guys! thankkss

Sounds like it has a six puck disc.

Can you hear a whirring noise when letting the clutch out?
