So I just installed my Invidia Q300. It sounds great. Sounds similar to stock exhaust but just a tad bit louder. The only issue I'm having is that the tips are touching the bumper. I looked at it again and the bumper seems to be melting a bit. Im thinking about cutting the y-pipe 1/2" where it connects to the muffler to center it. What do you guys think? Will this mess up the hangers? Has anyone done this before?

I see the rubber mallet, so I assume the slip fit connections are tight. The only other thing I can think of is the Y-pipe angle isn't correct but that would not be an easy fix.
