Default Issue with the window

I just started having an is last night. When I put the top down with the windows up the passenger side goes all the way down as usual but the drives side drops about 3 inches and stops. I have no idea what would cause this any help would be appreciated.

put the key in the ignition. now put the drivers side window all the way down (may take a few tries). once its down, press and hold the "window down" switch downward until you hear a little click (or just hold it for about 10 seconds). now, put your window all the way back up, and try putting it all the way down again. should be fine now

this is a well known issue regarding the window regulator. there is a tsb for it. i was going to have it replaced until dealership quoted me $500 for new parts.

anyway, i reset the window like washabis2k said. you put the window down, then hold it down for 10 secs. put the window up, then hold it up for 10 secs. at first it would only work for a day or two, but after multiple resets it has worked fine ever since (about 5 months now). this seems to be only a temporary fix for a lot of people.
