Default Issues solved, new probs tho :(

Hello all,

The clunk is apparently is normal, thanks for the advice. Now I have a new prob, when the tank is more than half-full of gas, I get a strong odor of gas, top down or up. It is coming from near the rear quarter panel, by the fuel door. and no, I am not spilling gass on fill up. However, I don't see any visible leaks. Is this normal as well?

Thanks,

Arun

This part of your post is disjointed and has no bearing on the current topic. Most people won't have a clue what the heck you're talking about. It should go as a post in the thread that it pertains to.

As for your gas smell, you most likely have some sort of leak in the tubes that run between the gas cap and the gas tank. These tubes run behind the driver's seat and the fumes can easily come out the vents in the plastic rear panel.

xviper,

Sorry, wasn't paying all that much attention to it, thanks for the advice though.
