Again...ask in the JDM forum...there are people there with lots of ITB experience.
From what I have seen...the cost for ITB set up and tuning is about the same as for a turbo. Midrange hp is pretty close to an FI, but top end is not that dramatic (from the one example I've personally seen...the increase was about 20hp with a good tune on the AEM).
