Doesn't really matter what size the header is because the cat-back will be connecting to the cat and not the header. I'm not sure if you need to get a new cat because of the different collector size of the J's header, but having a stock exhaust or dual amuse will not make any difference in terms of fitment.

The collector size really doesn't have much to do with fitment, as the flange has the same specs as any other header.

You may be better off to get a less expensive header, any gain you would have got with the big tube header from J's will be lost. The use of a cat and not a test pipe, smaller pipe size of the Amuse exhaust (2 1/2"), not to mention the added weight of duals. If you like the J's header go with a 70mm single exit exhaust

As I wrote in my post, just with some explanation

If you go with a 3" header go all the way with 3" exhaust

J's Racing header is not compatible with the stock cat, it says that in their advertising. If you have the funds for this head, don't sell yourself short, also pick up their 3"/70mm exhaust system which has the straight pipe built in.

There's very few if any of these state side, so you'd be in rare company if you get them. Careful though, they're loud and may be unreasonable for street use, but if you have bad hearing like me, who gives an f[][][].

Is this really true?? I was planning on getting this header and then sticking the cat in whenever it came time for emissions (running T1R 63mm with test pipe). I wouldnt want to change out BOTH the header and cat. If this really is true, I'd have to get something more streetable.
