JDM ecu
Are they plug and play for usdm s2000? i did a search but couldn't find a definitive answer conserning the immobilizer. I know that the Japanese doesn't use the Immobilizer. So could I just plug the jdm ecu to my usdm s2000?
The reason being I'm having problems with the OBDII usdm ecu and the emanage. I believe the JDM ecu is OBD I? (someone correct me if i'm wrong) BTW my car is built and turboed.
thanks
Sam

I can tell you this much. The Aus S isn't OBDII. I bought a scanner cable and software and spent ages looking for the plug.
Instead of a 16 pin plug we've got a couple of diagnostic plugs. Not sure if it's OBDI or just something proprietry, but it's not OBDII.

the ecu trims a lot of the fuel and is inconsistent, both long term and short term fuel trim. It'll run great for awhile on part throttle and then at WOT it wont. my tuner has spent 30 hours to try to get it to work but none too successful.
