Default Jerk when letting of the gas

Hey guys, just wondering if its normal or just due to my driving that i am experiencing a slight jerk when coming of the gas or going back on the gas. I can smooth it out but it seems that i have to come off and on the gas excessively slow just to make it smooth. Can anyone offer their opinion/experience?

If you're approaching the gas pedal like a binary on-off sort of thing (without the clutch), yeah it's going to jerk. How long have you had the S? How long have you been driving stick? How do you drive it? We're going to need more information to figure out what's going on.

I get this in 1st/2nd at low speeds around parking lot and such but I may just be a bad driver.

I get this too in low gears and low speeds - the S2000 doesn't like puttering around at low RPMs but it will smooth out with time and experience with the throttle.

Mine has been doing this for a couple of years, and even with the cruise control on so it's not my foot. I've been suspecting a little play in the (short) throttle cable but was wary of opening up the mechanism to get at it (I recall there's a FAQ here somewhere).

This could very well be normal, it does happen. Also your mileage is too low to suspect any mechanical issue but you never know how the car was driven before.

I find in first gear at low speeds if you're sitting in constant traffic all the time the car will sometimes buck on you. It's always done this for me. Other than that, No complaints
