Default Just had it tuned, 9hp gain

The goal was 200 whp... Took it to the shop today to get it tuned. Here is my original dyno sheet. The car was stock at this time, no mods whatsoever. Put down 192.45 hp, and 129 tq. Notice how rough the power curve is, and that the smoothing is still set to maximum for the dynojet.

Here is today's dyno, with the Invidia exhaust and Apexi Neo. Baseline is in green, with the neo installed but not tuned. 192.76 hp, and 130 tq. So I saw no hp gain and only 1 ft/lb of torque out of the exhaust. Guess it's a good thing I didn't pay much for it.

The final run turns out in blue, at 201.63 hp and 135.74 tq..... a total gain of 9 whp and almost 6 ft/lbs of torque on just an Invidia exhaust an a tuned Apexi Neo. Not to mention that it smoothed out the power band IMMENSELY, (notice how much smoother it is, and the smoothing rate is still set to max)

And on an even better note... I came home from getting it tuned, and surpassing my power goal... to find these sitting next to my garage! Tein Type FLEX baby! I'll put them in on Saturday, most likely.

well it's just tuned for wide open throttle... so most of my daily driving there isn't a difference. if I had tuned it for part throttle, the ECU woulda overridden it anyway, being OBD2.

But yeah, opening it up full throttle, it just feels stronger. There's not like a huge difference, but it definitely feels stronger...

Ive heard 2 sides to the partial throttle tune. Ive heard if you reset your ECU every week or so than the partial throttle tune will work.

and I dont know about that, either... once your ECU has gone through it's readiness cycle, it'll detune that partial throttle setting. And the S2000 goes through it's readiness checks really quickly. Mine does it in about 30 miles worth of driving.

So while that's true... resetting the ECU would cause the AFC partial throttle tune to work, it'd only work until the ECU goes through it's readiness checks... so you'd basically have to reset your ECU every time you drive somewhere if you wanted it to work properly.... doing that though would really decrease the efficiency of your stock OBD system, and wouldn't let you know of any potentially harmful problems that could arise, since your ECU would never be 'ready'.

And yeah, I'd recommend the Neo, just because it has more adjustment points and it looks better when compared to the previous version AFCs.

nice gain, but that AFR is horribly rough for a "tune"
