So I just installed my intake, and now I have an engine light. The guy I bought it from said I had every piece I needed, but I think he is lying. I dont have a hose to go to the intake for the PCV, so I believe that is what is turning on my engine light. Currently the metal tube that is stock is just hanging there, doing nothing. My biggest question is how dangerous is it to drive my car like this? What does the PCV do?

That hose is not the cause of your CEL.

Check your routing of the vac lines, and white check valve is going in the proper direction.

 

Fixed this issue, CEL is now gone
