hey guys i just noticed on my fipk the rubber that forms the seal with the hood came off, its stuck on there with some cheap glue i guess. I tried to glue it back and hope it holds, anyone else had this problem and wut did u do, thanks

 

Mine started to come off when I was installing, so I tore the entire thing off. The box is not sealed as good as the comptech intake is and I'm not that worried about intake air temps being much higher without it on there.

I have been considering modifying mine to get cooler air. I will most likely put heat barrier tape around the box and dremel out the bottom of the box and run some heater piping from the front bumper to the bottom of the intake. I am trying to figure out how to route it and make it so it is not seen from above

Silicone sealer. most auto shops have it
