K20 Head and F20c bottom

Default K20 Head and F20c bottom

Will a K20 head bolt up to a F20c bottom end with out any problems? i have a head laying around that needs to be rebuilt, and same for the block.. was thinkng of just stroking it.

No but even if it did why? The K2X heads have significantly inferior flow compared to the F2X heads.

I don't think so. Besides, the consensus seems to be that the S2000 head is one of the best OEM heads in the world.

I have heard that it is very close, While the F20 head out flows the k20 head stock for stock, they are Very similar, Perhaps the k20 head can be made to flow just as well with head work

I-vtec would be nice on the s2000, giving it alot more power in the midrange where it needs it.

I know its been done before, Head to head the F20 head flows better. But the k20 head there are a ton more cam/valvetrain options available. But its nothing a little machine work cant fix!

But do the aftermarket valvetrain parts work well for the K20? They sure dont for the F20..or so I've heard..

yes they work quite well, there are K24's all motor putting out over 300+ WHP with ease..

K20/K24 set ups are amazing... If it would work in the S2k thats the NA setup i would be running. Get some IPS cams supertech valve train. Alaniz head.... Good to go with some ITB's as well!!
