Default K&N Intake - Broken Nipple

I recently purchased an S2000 and it came with a K&N Intake and I just noticed that the nipple for the tube that leads to the top of the valve cover from the intake has snapped off. What is the easiest way to go about repairing this because I can't find any replacements for the K&N intake tube alone only the full packages. I thought about take some other type of nipple probably metal and threading it into the hole, would this be the best way to fix it? Could I just plug that hole and use the nipple from the other side assuming its the same hole size?

Try emailing k&n but make sure you include the whole part number, make, model and year of your car or they will have to ask for it

Alright I will actually contact them now because you are the second person to tell me that. I just assumed being a huge company they could care less about a couple hundred dollar item.

Thank You!

I don't see any reason you can't use the other nipple, the larger unused one opposite it. This is a breather, nothing more. Seal this hole and get a bit longer hose. If the opposite nipple is larger just make an adapter since it's just a breather.

When I was looking for my heatshield for mu intake they got back to me pretty quickly with the exact part numbers and prices but expect it to be ~150-200 so there's probably cheaper fixes lol.
