Default Ugh, stupid intake.

I just replaced my intake elbow for the 3rd time last week and now this one needs to be replaced. For some reason, the nipple that extrudes to hold the vacuum breather line that connects to the valve cover keeps ripping off.

Is anyone else having issues like this? I'm using OEM clamps but the tube that came with the K&N FIPK intake; I couldn't find the OEM one at the time but didn't feel this should be an issue.

Can you post up a picture? I have never heard of this issue before.

Is the hose too short for some reason? Is there oil in there? make sure you clean the mating pieces well. A little hairspray in there might be helpful.

I had the same problem when i used the AEM cold air intake breather line.It was too long and ripped the factory intake nipple. Is your line too long or too short?if so thats the problem.
