Thumbs up koni install question

When I got home from the suspension shop last night I popped the hood to take a look. The large washers at the top of my shock assemblies didn't look right to me. I know the installation of these is a bit confusing, but does this look right to you guys? Koni yellows w/Espelir coils.

I just redrilled my OEM retainers when I did my install. I don't remember using those large washers. The visual change from OEM on mine is the top adjuster. Everything else looks stock.

No he did not do it right. One of the large washers should go on top of the bump stop, under the dust cover and the other large washer should go on top of the dust cover.

At first I through he just had the washer in the wrong place but after taking a closer look at the pic you have something strange going on under the washer, shock sticking up to high with extra parts. It should look the same as a stock setup with just the adjuster added.

Shock is sitting way up higher than it should be.
I don't know how he managed to pull up that shock shaft(?) that high.
Something's definitely not right.

It should be large plastic split washer then bump stop, then large steel washer then dust cover then large steel washer then top spring purch assembly then nuts. The top spring purch should have metal/rubber bushing on both sides with a steel sleeve between them.
