Default Koni yellow brake line bracket question

Apparently I didn't take enough pics before I started replacing old Koni Yellows with a new set. I already threw away the old Konis so I don't have them to compare w/ the new ones but it appears they placed the brake line bracket on the side of the shock instead of in back of it like on my previous set. Has anyone else had this issue?

Now I'm in a situation where I don't know if I should turn the shock body around so the bracket faces the inside or leave it like it is? I'm also not sure how to route the new brake hose around it because the bracket on the shock doesn't line up with the bracket on the line. If you have encountered this issue how did you resolve it? I'd prefer not to use zip ties.

Turn it if you can. I haven't used Koni I don't suppose they have specific left and right shocks like some manufacturers do ?
