Default Latest Dyno Results w/ Vortech, High Flow Cat & FMAC Radiator

Wanted to see what gains I had made (if any) with the addition of a Magnaflow SS high-flow cat and a Spearco front mount aftercooler radiator to the Vortech since my last dyno in March (327 whp). Conditions were a LOT less favorable today -- 92 degrees F and 75% humidity -- so while I was hopeful of a 15+ hp gain, I wasn't about to bet the farm on it. Good thing I didn't.

Peak numbers: 337 whp and 196 ft/lbs torque. This was on a Dynojet w/93 octane. Had I dyno'd with cooler temps, I think I would've gotten quite a bit closer to my benchmark of 350. I guess I'll just have to wait til December.

Here's a comparison of my dyno back in January (sans AEM, RC's, Magnaflow and Spearco) with today's:

You'll note the AFR now is a LOT more "comfortable" thanks to AEM. With some more work, I think 350+ whp is attainable...

Looking at your dyno graph, STD correction was being used, so that makes compensations for the temperature, so in theory, you shouldn't see any difference in your dyno if it was cooler.

bigpurp,

Wow, 337rwhp is some kick ass hp. Congratulations. What boost are you generating at redline and where did you set your redline?

^ Thanks brother. The temple of Vortech is strong indeed.

BTW: My redline is unchanged, which puts me right @ 8900 (I believe).

Looks good Purp. I'd be pleased with those #'s in less than perfect conditions. I was happy with a 295hp pull in 90deg weather, with 80% humidity.

Slow and eugene, thanks for the support.

beroz, why do you think I wanted that head you were selling?

kumar, you and I both know STD is better.
