LHT oil filter wrench
LHT performance in Saint Pete, FL does a lot of cool stuff for our cars. I just came across this Wrench and it looks like another great product but $90 for a single use tool seems a little too expensive. I think $50 would be about my threshold for something like this. Even still I’d rather a simple, stamped steel filter socket.

Thanks for sharing Windhund.
I bought this and it technically fits but, when i went to torque it, it wants to slip off.
Correct size but notice it can be used for 80/82mm.
Only half of the flute grabs the filter. I’ll most likely buy the wrench Windhund116 shared from Amazon.

That's not the new Lisle 61550 filter.
You have the older Steelman P/N 06129 with the 80-82mm tapered socket. Those slip.
You need to buy the new Lisle 61550, 80mm only one.
Older Lisle models were too tight, (79.5mm)
Steelman P/N 06129 (80-82mm) wrench. These slip.
Note how the socket wrench doesn't fit flush onto the wrench if the filter is inserted.
New Lisle 61550 wrench (80mm). An added ring is welded to the top to ensure that the ratchet wrench doesn't touch the filter top.

This one works on the new light-blue -306 filter.
