Default Light after door is open

So between the passenger and the driver, on top of the shifter, there is the dome light. Its right in the middle where if i open any door, the light would come. I just noticed that when i open the driver side, it wont turn on, so i checked everything and it seemed fine. When i open the passenger door, the light comes on.

Whats wrong here?

The door jamb switch on the drivers side is faulty.

its located right near the gas tank opener switch. its a lil nobby looking thing with a rubber boot around it.. wiggle it around and see if it makes the light flicker. my passenger side wasn't working and i wiggled it and it seems to work fine now. i prob put a new one in if it stops working.

Pull the little boot back and soak it with some WD 40, push it in and out a bunch of times. It might start workin again. Sometimes we only have to be smarter than dirt.

I use to have that problem in the Prelude. Switch would get stuck from time to time.
