In-line (out of tank) fuel pump for stock engine
Hi guys
Putting an F20C2 (AP1) in my kitcar.
Pardon my ignorance, but is a Bosch -044 (or cheaper FSE/Sytech P3044.1/OTP044 version) overkill for a stock motor? Apparently, these pumps are the bees' knees for built up and forced induction motors, but I just want to have my stock motor be able to run at full chat on the track and am not well enough versed on this subject to know if these super pumps might overwhelm the original pressure regulator or the stock injectors (or anything else).
Anybody know if a cheaper FSE/Sytec P3019.1/OTP019 will suffice? Seems like it would, but my searches don't show anyone using these.
Thanks for any (useful) advice.
Cheers,
Steve, in the NLs
