Default Lose some acceleration after 75% throttle

If slowly I push down the throttle it pulls hard up until about 75℅ of the action on the accelerator is used. If I exceed 75℅ throttle then I have a sharp and noticeable loss in pull by about 25℅. This happens regardless of rpms. Goes away on long drives and comes back after the car sits for awhile.

I had an issue with RPM and it was spark plug about 10 years ago.. i assume yours is AP1 so check throttle cable tension as well.

Any thing you might want to look into is the throttle position sensor. If the TPS is not reading correctly you can lose power..

No pictures to post, but I replaced the sparkplugs. The issue still exists.

The issue screams TPS. Use a code scanner and make sure the throttle percentage increases linearly as the pedal goes down.

A code scanner can do this?
... or rather, a auto parts store code scanner can do this?

I use a generic OBD2 code scanner/diagnostic tool. You should get the same features with any OBD2 reader. I'm not sure if an auto parts store can or will do anything besides read codes. Check out Bluetooth adapters which you can use with the torque app.

Any suggestions on wireless OBD2 adapters for the torque app?
